What does the Takers creation myth tell Ishmael about us?
I'm not really sure because while reading this book it has been a challenge for me. Well I'm pretty sure the takers are people that don't think about what they have and just give it away. I think Ishmael is trying to tell us that we aren't doing a good job with the world and people. That we are slowly changing everything with people and the world in example with people, most people are rich and would take everything for granted.
How does the story of Cain and Able reinforce Taker mythology?
I'm not sure but what I think is that they were talking about there lifestyle and what they believe in. I’m not sure what the mythology means and what it has to do with the story of Cain and Able. I’m confused about the story and what mythology means.
What questions does this chapter pose to you about your own understanding of the world?
Well some of my questions are why is Ishmael bringing up different stories to this conversation? like when he talked about the Jews, the bible and who created it? Also why this book means anything to me? What do I gain from this book other thank knowing what is about? What doe the bible have to do with anything?

Quote
“In order to become fully human, man had to pull himself out of the slime. And all this is the result. As the takers see it, the gods gave man the same choice they gave Achilles: a brief life of glory or a long uneventful life in obscurity. And the takers chose a brief life of glory.”
I think this Quote means that the Takers want everything to be perfect and are willing to take anything they hear is good. Whatever sounds good they will take.

What are Ishmael's thoughts on "how things came to be"?
I think his thoughts were that humans were only suppose to be in the earth. Ishmael, I think he only thought humans were suppose to be here and not animals. He talked about how animals
What are you confused by or need clarify on regarding the text?
The thing I need clarification is about when Ishmael talks about Germany. I don't know how they got to that point in time. Was Ishmael there? Where did he get this information? And I'm getting confused with the quotes, of who is speaking. Im just really confused with everything.
