What does the Takers creation myth tell Ishmael about us?
I'm not really sure because while reading this book it has been a challenge for me. Well I'm pretty sure the takers are people that don't think about what they have and just give it away. I think Ishmael is trying to tell us that we aren't doing a good job with the world and people. That we are slowly changing everything with people and the world in example with people, most people are rich and would take everything for granted.
How does the story of Cain and Able reinforce Taker mythology?
I'm not sure but what I think is that they were talking about there lifestyle and what they believe in. I’m not sure what the mythology means and what it has to do with the story of Cain and Able. I’m confused about the story and what mythology means.
What questions does this chapter pose to you about your own understanding of the world?
Well some of my questions are why is Ishmael bringing up different stories to this conversation? like when he talked about the Jews, the bible and who created it? Also why this book means anything to me? What do I gain from this book other thank knowing what is about? What doe the bible have to do with anything?
